What is YamiKawa?

YamiKawa is an independent idol group produced by Ueno Mamiko.Built around the theme of "cute on the outside, rotten on the inside," YamiKawa blends adorable aesthetics with dark, horror-inspired elements in both their visual style and music. The group creates a mix of song covers and original releases, aiming to captivate audiences with their unique contrast of sweetness and darkness while striving to become a widely recognized idol group.

What are you looking for?

I am looking for female Vtubers (20+ of age) with the dream to become an idol, girls that want to work hard to make their dreams come true and to show the world what they can do!

Do I need a Live2d model?

Yes. I want everyone to own a Live2d model for different reasons like collabs, MVs, promo videos, etc.

Are you an agency?

Nope! I'm just a girl with hopes and dreams~

Will I need money for this?

Yes. The cost for things like mixing, MVs, etc will be split between all members.
I will do the art for the start and for the other stuff I have a bunch of cheap but great people saved that we can commission! Future Youtube earnings will be put towards these things.

Do I need to have song cover experience?

If you can deliver clean recordings then no but experience in both recording and vtubing will be a plus in your audition (same for extra talents like art, mixing, video editing, etc)

What happens after I applied?

If you're selected, the next step will be a Discord call between you and me where we get to know each other and see if we vibe!

Who is Ueno Mamiko?

Hii! My name is Ueno Mamiko and I'm a 26 year old Vtuber from Germany. I'm pretty chaotic and loud and I could talk about idols all day long! My favorite idol group is Morning Musume (and Hello Project in general) and my Kami Oshi is Inoue Haruka.
I am not the best at being social due to my social anxiety and I struggle with finding the right words a lot. I absolutely LOVE Pokemon and am a fan of Nintendo stuff in general. I am very tired all the time and could sleep 24/7 and I love everything cute (who would have guessed).
I've been a Vtuber since 2020 so I've been around for a while and this idol group is my biggest dream so I take this very seriously!!
I'm an airhead and I don't understand sarcasm so if you tell me that you can't read I might actually believe you. Other than that I have heard others describe me as kind (thanks) and I love helping out whereever I can!
